a sustainable commercially permitted event, one of several agreements that we realized with the Santa Barbara Los Padres Forest Service to assure that these trail races would be permitted on an annual basis. One of the most important criteria was that we “design course routes” to be non-impacting on any sensitive endangered species and/or biologically, archeological or geological sensitive areas that would need “monitoring or mitigating”.
